On 22 October, Lambeth Council, NHS South East London, and The Bridge at Waterloo hosted a borough-wide event bringing together creative practitioners, health professionals, and community organisations. Attendees had the opportunity to share ideas, build connections, and celebrate the role of creativity in supporting health and wellbeing.

The Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance (NWDA) are working with Age UK Lambeth and Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital to reach more residents, break down barriers in accessing healthcare, and ensure all communities can age well.
In a series of events between March and June 2025 attendees were offered a holistic health assessment to support them to stay healthy and independent with age.

HEAL-D is a seven week diet and lifestyle programme open to Lambeth residents. It has been culturally tailored and developed to support and empower people of African and Caribbean heritage, who are living with type 2 diabetes, to take charge of their health whilst enjoying the food from their culture.

People living in Lambeth can get faster, potentially life-changing liver scans closer to where they live thanks to a new pilot scheme. Guy’s and St Thomas’ Liver Care Service is offering people with signs of liver disease a quick and convenient scan, known as a Fibroscan, without the need to wait for a hospital appointment.
