Residents across South London can now access 24/7 mental health crisis support through WhatsApp, offering a new, more flexible way to get help when they need it most.

The initiative is designed to complement existing urgent support routes, including the NHS 111 “press 2” mental health option, by giving people an additional channel that may feel more accessible and less daunting than speaking on the phone.

Unbound Moving Arts’ Rhythms Club is celebrating after being awarded £6,837 of National Lottery funding from Sport England to help continue its work with older adults in Brixton.
