  1. Friday 31 January’s Great Mental Health Day aims to get Lambeth sharing and exploring about small acts of kindness that make a more supportive, caring, and compassionate community.

    The theme of this year’s Great Mental Health Day is ‘small actions for others’ –  a reminder that we can all do something to spread hope and kindness.

  2. More than 400 residents from across the borough attended the Age Well Festival at the Oval cricket ground on Saturday 5 October 2024, hosted by Lambeth Council’s  Age Friendly team. 

    A key priority for Lambeth Together is to improve health and care to our older residents.

  3. Lambeth and Southwark have a thriving LGBTQ+ community. But many people who identify as LGBTQIA+ report feeling isolated, misunderstood, and unsupported, leading to increased levels of stress, anxiety, and depression.

    A local mental health charity has recognised this urgent need and has taken urgent action by successfully securing funding for a new wellbeing group: Queer Minds.
