A new video from Lambeth Together’s Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance featuring local resident Sally shines a spotlight on the difference receiving a hospital level of service at home can make. Sally recovered at home during a period of intense illness, where she would usually have required a hospital stay.
Lambeth residents are helping to shape a new joined-up neighbourhood health and care approach. Recent workshops, surveys and focus groups run by Healthwatch Lambeth and culminating in their Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) Community Engagement Report – show a strong call for local, connected and preventive services that are easier to access, more personal, and rooted in community life.
The 2026 Lambeth Carers Awards are open for nominations until 20 July. Local people are encouraged to nominate exceptional individuals who care for others in the community.
