Women and girls in Lambeth are getting better access to joined-up health and care — and a new video released by Lambeth Together shows how. The film celebrates the Women’s and Girls’ Health Hub, which this week picked up the Patient Involvement and Choice Award at the national NHS Excellence Awards, highlighting the impact of working together to bring support closer to communities across the borough.

Unbound Moving Arts’ Rhythms Club is celebrating after being awarded £6,837 of National Lottery funding from Sport England to help continue its work with older adults in Brixton. The funding will support 41 weeks of free, accessible movement classes for over-60s, delivered in partnership with Age UK Lambeth and MySocial.

Women’s and Girls’ Health Hubs in south east London has been awarded a London regional NHS Excellence Award, in the patient involvement and choice category. They will now be put forward for the National Awards and Winners will be announced in June at the NHS Confederation Expo.
