Winter wellbeing support available to Lambeth residents

Lambeth Together partner, Age UK Lambeth, is offering a range of free services this winter to help residents stay warm, well and connected.

Winter Wellbeing Drop-ins will offer hot drinks, social activities and information about winter support. Sessions take place at Vidas, 2B Saltoun Road, Brixton, on 20 October (12pm–3pm), 27 October (11am–1pm) and 10 November (1pm–3pm).

Free Home Energy Checks are also available for eligible residents aged 65+, providing advice on keeping homes warm and saving energy, alongside simple energy-saving equipment. Energy Boost offers free one-to-one help with energy bills for anyone aged 18+.

Age UK Lambeth has also opened referrals for Festive Friends 2026, supporting Lambeth residents aged 65+ who live alone and would otherwise spend Christmas Day alone. Volunteers will deliver an extra Christmas dinner portion on 25 December.
