Welcome to our new Patient and Public Voice board members
Lambeth Together is delighted to welcome two Patient and Public Voice (PPV) representatives to the Lambeth Together Care Partnership Board following a competitive recruitment process which saw a large amount of interest in these roles.

Welcome back, Eugenie
We are pleased to welcome back Eugenie Dadie, who has successfully secured a second term as a PPV Board member.
Since joining the PPV programme in 2024, Eugenie has been a highly valued contributor to board meetings, seminars and partnership discussions. She regularly opens the public forum with updates from the PPV community, ensuring that the experiences, concerns and priorities of local residents are reflected in board conversations and decision-making.
Her commitment to championing community perspectives has helped strengthen the voice of patients and residents across the partnership, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from her insight and experience.
A warm welcome to Sherine
We’re also delighted to welcome Sherine Thompson as a new PPV Board member.
Sherine brings a wealth of experience from her extensive community work in Lambeth, alongside valuable lived experience as a patient. Her passion for improving health and care services is rooted in a commitment to ensuring services are inclusive, culturally responsive and centred around people’s needs.
Speaking about her new role, Sherine said: “My experiences and community activities have motivated me to become part of improving and shaping services that are clinically excellent, culturally responsive and genuinely person-centred. I’m really looking forward to working with the board.”
Alongside her new board position, Sherine serves as Community Lead for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) Forensic Mental Health Services, where she has helped deliver the pioneering Out of the Shadows mental health conference.
Through the Patient and Carers Race Equality Framework (PCREF) pilot programme, Sherine also contributes to the SLAM Board, Joint Working Groups and Race Equity Advisory Group, helping to strengthen connections between communities and healthcare organisations.
Sherine added: “My membership acts as a bridge between communities and the NHS to support greater accountability, improve trust and help drive meaningful change.”
Strengthening the patient and public voice
Patient and Public Voice representatives play a vital role in ensuring that Lambeth residents’ experiences and perspectives help shape local health and care services. Welcoming Eugenie and Sherine to the board, Di Aitken, Co-Chair of Lambeth Together, said: “We’re very fortunate to have Eugenie and Sherine on the board, bringing the voices and concerns of patients and residents to our partnership. Both demonstrate the talent and commitment that we truly value within our Lambeth communities, and we look forward to working with them.”
Their appointments reinforce Lambeth Together’s commitment to working in partnership with local people to improve health and care services for all residents.
