  1. Age UK Lambeth is running a series of free Winter Wellbeing events and home energy services to help older residents stay healthy, warm and connected this winter. The programme includes expert Q&As, flu vaccinations, and practical energy-saving support.

    Residents are invited to Vidas in Brixton for a chance to ask local doctors and public health experts their winter health questions, enjoy refreshments, and receive a free flu vaccination.

  2. People living with chronic pain in Lambeth are set to benefit from a major expansion of a pioneering community-based programme, thanks to new funding from King’s Health Partners, secured in August 2025.

    The Pain: Equality of Care and Support in the Community (PEACS) programme, developed by Lambeth Together’s Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance (NWDA), has been working with residents, clinicians and voluntary sector partners to co-design a new approach to chronic pain.

  3. Lambeth’s fourth ‘Inspire’ Black communities health and wellbeing day drew over 450 people to St Mark’s Church in Kennington on Saturday 25 October. This popular event takes place annually during Black History Month, and connects individuals with advice, information and support to take charge of their health, and interact with vital services in a community setting.

  4. Twenty-seven autistic young people from three Lambeth schools have created a powerful documentary, ‘Autism: A Unique Life’, to raise awareness of autism, challenge stereotypes and share their lived experiences.

    Funded by NHS South East London All Age Autism Fund, Lambeth Council partnered with local production company Chocolate Films Workshops to deliver documentary-making workshops to the young people aged 11–19 from three local schools: Elm Court School, La Retraite School and London Nautical School, City of London Academy.
