Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection caused by bacteria. It is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in Lambeth. If untreated, infection can lead to pain in the testicles, prostate and lower belly. It also can increase the risk of infertility and pregnancy complications.

A new partnership between Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and the Lambeth General Practice Provider Alliance has been confirmed to take on the role of Neighbourhood Health Service Integrator for Lambeth.
Approved by the South East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) on 16 July, this partnership will help coordinate and connect health and care services across the borough—supporting more joined-up, community-based care that meets the needs of local people.
