  1. Lambeth marks World Mental Health Day with a free event from Healthwatch and free suicide awareness training.

    World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October every year. National and local organisations and groups organise events and activities either on the day or in the days surrounding it, putting a spotlight on the importance of mental health, support available for people and things people can do to protect their mental health.

  2. Local people can take part in consultations, surveys, and discussions to influence and support Lambeth’s health and care provision on an innovative online ‘engagement platform’ Let’s Talk Health and Care South East London (letstalkhealthandcareselondon.org).

    The Lambeth Together hub is a place to go to see and sign up for opportunities for engagement from different Lambeth Together partners, linked to priorities set out in ‘Our health, Our Lambeth’ Health and Care Plan 2023-2028.

  3. With funding from South East London Integrated Care System (ICS), Lambeth Council is overseeing a new funding programme as part of its work to improve health in the borough with other health and care organisations in the Lambeth Together partnership. The  Neighbourhood Wellbeing Delivery Alliance (NWDA) Health Inequalities Community Fund is open to applications for programmes of work that will address and tackle health inequalities within Lambeth  communities and improve outcomes for all.

  4. Taking place from 5 June – 11 June, Carers Week is about recognising unpaid carers and their valuable contribution to our community. In Lambeth over 18,000 residents are looking after a friend, partner or family member who has an illness, disability, or addiction.
