  1. London has the lowest uptake of HPV across regions of England. Lambeth’s overall HPV vaccination coverage is lower than the London average. This is a concern, as the HPV vaccine helps protect against several types of cancer and other illnesses caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

  2. A new partnership between Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and the Lambeth General Practice Provider Alliance has been confirmed to take on the role of Neighbourhood Health Service Integrator for Lambeth.

    Approved by the South East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) on 16 July, this partnership will help coordinate and connect health and care services across the borough—supporting more joined-up, community-based care that meets the needs of local people.

  3. Lambeth Together is proud to support Alcohol Awareness Week, shining a spotlight on the powerful journeys of peer mentors who have overcome alcohol addiction and are now helping others do the same.

    Ruth Hutt, Director of Public Health at Lambeth Council, said: “We’re extremely proud of the peer mentors we have in Lambeth, who play an integral role in supporting people on their journey to recovery from substance and alcohol addiction.
