Carer’s Hub Lambeth is marking Carer’s Rights Day on Thursday, 21 November, with a special evening event dedicated to supporting and celebrating local carers. This event is designed to provide both practical support and an opportunity for carers to connect with others in a friendly and supportive environment.

Lambeth Council has set out its new approach to supporting autistic people of all ages and their families, and emphasises on the importance of understanding, acceptance and inclusion and is part of our commitment to becoming a borough of equity and justice.
Today, on Carers’ Rights Day, we seek to raise awareness of the entitlements and support available for unpaid carers in Lambeth, and make sure that more local carers know how to access their rights and get the support they need.
In the recent Lambeth Council consultation on the Carers Strategy, Lambeth carers were asked what local changes would make a difference to them.
Lambeth Council and partners in NHS South East London are working together to develop new plans that will support autistic people of all ages in Lambeth to thrive. Consultation to inform a new All Age Autism Strategy from 2023-26 runs from 16 February to 31 March.
