This is our fifth annual Progress Report, covering April 2023 to March 2024. It includes updated performance figures, how we did against our six priorities, plus our plans for the coming year and beyond.
Welcome and introduction
We welcome the decision of all Living Well Network Alliance partners to sign up for a three-year extension of the partnership which will run from April 2025.
The period running up to this extension is an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the Alliance and to identify our priorities for the next three years and beyond.
The first six years have not all been straightforward, and big changes to the environment that we work and live in have had an impact on what we do. The pandemic has had a real impact on the way that services are delivered, and the cost-of-living crisis has had a real effect on peoples’ lives and, inevitably, their mental health.
Despite this, it’s important to reflect on our achievements which are considerable, with many outlined in this progress report. It’s also important to remember that the idea of an alliance of commissioners and providers from the council, NHS and the voluntary sector, taking on shared responsibility for delivering and improving services, was very new when we started. And it’s an idea that is as important now as it was then, giving us the means to build services around the needs of people rather than trying to fit people round services and funding streams.
We are now looking to the future and developing a plan for the next three years. It’s important to us that this plan is not just about what we as an Alliance think is important, and the services we deliver, but that we hear from everyone in Lambeth on what we can all do to improve our mental health. We’re hoping to be talking to as many people as possible with an interest in mental health in Lambeth over the next few months, and that you’ll tell us what is important to you.

Can you help us?
We have a short survey that anyone who use our services is invited to complete. It will take less than three minutes and will tell us how well we are doing and what we need to improve.
