Project Smith and the London Community Foundation are delighted to continue to offer the Lambeth Wellbeing Fund, thanks to a continued partnership with Lambeth Together, the Lambeth Public Health Directorate and the London Borough of Lambeth.
The programme contributes to the Lambeth Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
To combat the impact of chronic pain on the black community, Black Thrive are working with RTW Plus (an organisation that provides rehabilitation support to meet the needs of people who suffer from persistent pain) and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity to deliver the ‘Living Well with Pain Programme’.
Lambeth Together has unveiled its Health and Wellbeing Bus to help protect communities from Covid-19 this summer. The specially adapted bus will be deployed to different parts of the borough to provide health and wellbeing advice and support, improving access for residents near their homes.
The Lambeth Carers Card is a new initiative that has been designed to connect unpaid carers to helpful information and resources. Many of these carers still don’t know that help is available, so please share this information and help us spread the word!
