Yvette's story

Yvette shares her personal reasons for keeping her blood pressure in check.

“I had a stent put in after a heart attack when I was 40. My Mum had hypertension and she died young. My sister died early too.

“I believe in the grace of God and prayer. That’s the Lord’s part. But we have to do our part also.

“I eat and exercise and get my blood pressure checked. I had a knee op last year, and now I walk 10,000 steps every day.”
