This is our third progress report as the Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance. This is an opportunity for us to share our work over the past 12 months: what we’ve delivered, what we’ve learned, and how this has helped us think about what’s needed in the future to improve health and care for Lambeth residents.

The Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance is a space for different parts of the health and care system to work together. We’re a partnership of health, care, voluntary and community organisations in Lambeth who come together to think about how we can support people with their health and wellbeing. We know that bringing more health and care services to people in their communities and neighbourhoods makes it easier for them to get the support they need, and at the right time. And we embed this principle in all the work we do.

During 2022-23 we focused on three strategic priorities: prevention, urgent and emergency care, and complex care. You can read about what we did against each of these priorities, and our next steps, in this report.

We also used our collective experience to support the development of ‘Our Health Our Lambeth’, the local health and care plan for Lambeth Together, which recognises that not everyone has the same chance to stay healthy and thrive. The Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance is committed to tackling this inequality and making sure that no matter who you are, or where you live in Lambeth, you can get the support that works for you.

Over the next year, we’ll continue to work together to reflect and build on the achievements of the Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Delivery Alliance – always ensuring that we have our residents at the heart of all that we do.
