Chief Executive, Integrated and Specialist Medicine Clinical Group, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust

Louise is Chief Executive of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust’s Integrated and Specialist Medicine Clinical Group. This includes acute and general medicine, emergency care, clinical imaging and medical physics, dental services, integrated local services, medical specialities, specialist ambulatory services, pharmacy and medicines optimisation, and therapies and rehabilitation.

Louise joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ from Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where she was Managing Director of King George Hospital, responsible for leading and managing the site, with a particular focus on urgent and emergency care. She was also the Trust’s lead for Redbridge.

A pharmacist by background, Louise has held a wide variety of leadership roles including Programme Director for elective transformation and recovery at NHS London, and Chief Pharmacist at both Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, where she was also Divisional Director of Operations for acute and emergency medicine and clinical support services.
