Rich Wiltshire

Patient and Public Voice Member

Rich is one of two Patient and Public Voice Members on the Board. He is also Executive Director of Lambeth based social enterprise Unbound Moving Arts, which brings movement, dance and art meditation to marginalised groups.

From 2005 to 2014 Rich worked in the Mayor of London’s office as a senior officer in the Government Relations team. Before that he was a public affairs consultant, advising public and third sector organisations on how to influence government.

In 2014 Rich took medical retirement from the Mayor’s office due to a complex health condition. He has significant experience as a health service user in Lambeth.

Rich feels passionately about making health and social care services more joined up and easier to access, especially for disabled people, people with multiple long-term conditions and people who face discrimination.

Rich is interested in social prescribing in the borough, as well as finding ways for health and care services to better support those who live their lives in isolation. He is also keen to see Lambeth patients have access to new medical technologies and treatments as they become available nationally.

Rich has lived in Brixton for over 20 years and can often be found in Brockwell Park or wandering by the River.
