Damilola Bamidele

Programme Director, Black Thrive Lambeth

Dami is Head of Programme Delivery at Black Thrive Lambeth where she is responsible for implementing strategy and navigating the health system landscape. She enhances operational efficiency, strategic planning processes and engages with external partners and stakeholders. And is the central point for facilitating effective coordination and communication between departments and external partners.

Dami is a Grants and Programmes professional and brings nearly 20 years’ national and international experience devising and leading projects within the education, manufacturing and not-for-profit sectors. She began her career delivering education-focused programmes, and moved into grant-giving, specifically in the private, philanthropic, international and public arenas.

With extensive experience in the third sector, she’s played a key role in devising and implementing impactful initiatives, having managed both large and small-scale grants programmes, managing relationships with funded organisations and supporting them throughout the life of their grant and evaluation.

Dami sits on several boards and working groups across Lambeth and is currently a trustee at the Peter Minet Trust, which funds Black-led charities and CICs in Lambeth and Southwark.
