Cllr Nanda Manley-Browne is Lambeth Council’s Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities (Job Share) and Co-Chair of the Lambeth Together Care Partnership Board.
With a deep commitment to equity, dignity and community empowerment, Nanda brings lived experience and trusted leadership to her role. She is focused on tackling health inequalities, particularly among Black, multi-ethnic and marginalised communities, and championing co-produced, resident-led solutions.
As Co-Chair of Lambeth Together, she leads on improving health and care services through strong cross-sector partnerships, with an emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and addressing the wider social determinants of health. Her approach centres on listening, transparency and building long-term trust with communities.
Nanda’s portfolio in the council spans sexual health, mental health, ageing well, substance misuse and community care. Her work is guided by Lambeth’s ambition to be a Borough of Equity and Justice—where everyone can thrive and no one is left behind.
