Ade Odunlade

Chief Operating Officer, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

Ade Odunlade joined South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in November 2023.

Previously he was COO at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Managing Director at Central Northwest London NHS Trust. He brings over 30 years of experience in clinical leadership and workforce development. A mental health nurse and therapist by background, Ade began his career at the Maudsley and has worked across inpatient, community, and specialist services.

He was also the chair of NHS Providers’ COO Network and won the Asian Professionals’ National Alliance (APNA NHS) Mentoring and Coaching Champion Award. Ade is also a published author and an advocate for human development, mental health and Population Health Management.
